Concert Hall

Choreographed by Maurice Brandon Curry and featuring live music by the Park Island Chamber Symphony, under the baton of David Bernard. Perhaps one of the most iconic Christmas stories in history, The Nutcracker is a beautiful two-act ballet set to a score by Tchaikovsky, and tells the story of a young girl’s Christmas Eve. Clara’s adventure unfolds with her mysterious godfather and the wonderful toy he brings her, introducing her to a new world and her first infatuation. From its premiere in Russia in 1892 to its debut in the United States in 1944 to modern day performances, little has changed of this enchanting, family-friendly ballet. A growing Christmas tree, a magical snow forest, waltzing flowers, and of course, the Sugar Plum Fairy, complete this truly magical show.

Featuring NYC Ballet soloist Miriam Miller as The Sugar Plum Fairy, NYC Ballet principal Tyler Angle as The Cavalier, and Tik-Tok sensation Nick Kosir (The Dancing Weatherman) as Dr. Stahlbaum.
