Jae Sinnett’s Zero to 60 Quartet with special guest pianist Justin Kauflin
Jae Sinnett’s Zero to 60 Quartet is one of the most musically exciting jazz ensembles playing today. The Quartet features: saxophonist Ralph Bowen, part of the OTB (Out of the Blue) group on Blue Note Records; pianist Allen Farnham, who was musical director for the late Susannah McCorkle and has played, written and arranged for some of the greats including Mel Torme, Liza Minnelli and Joe Lovano; bassist Terry Burrell, one of the most versatile bassists playing today, and who has played with innovative saxophonist Steve Coleman; and Jae Sinnett, the drummer and main writer for the group. Jae composed the music on the Zero to 60 CD which peaked at number one on the national Jazzweek radio chart in April of 2016. Joining the group is jazz pianist, composer, educator and record producer Justin Kauflin. Combining original compositions with sophisticated arrangements of popular standards, the Zero to 60 Quartet dazzles with musical virtuosity and swings with the emotional fire, soul and commitment of well-seasoned and traveled musical veterans.
