SKETCH WRITING, IMPROV & CREATING DIGITAL COMEDY CONTENT
This class will provide the tools needed to develop sketch writing, improvisational skills and stand-up comedy material for high school students.  Participants will learn to create digital content as they explore writing, acting, and editing their own sketches for Instagram, YouTube, and more! The program will culminate in a showcase designed by the students.

INSTRUCTOR – JAIME WATSON

Jamie is a professional comedian and actor, best known for her commercial work as the “Sprintern” in Sprint’s national ad campaign. She received her BFA in Acting from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and has since taught improv comedy workshops at NYU and Columbia University. Jamie performs sketch and improv weekly. She is also a director and cast member of the Story Pirates, which brings arts education and entertainment to kids throughout the U.S. and the world.
