Group Sales

Whether your group is a fraternal organization, a business, family and friends, Tilles Center  offers special discounts and privileges to parties of ten (10) or more people. Make a night of it by bringing your group to a world-class performance at Long Island’s premier arts venue.

It’s easy to organize a Group Outing

Promote Early: Contact members of your group to get a general idea of what types of performances interest them.

Reserve Tickets: You may reserve tickets by filling out our Group Tickets Request form online, or by mailing or faxing an order form to the Group Sales department. Remember, no payment is needed to request a reservation. An invoice will be mailed to you within 48 hours of the receipt of your request. You will also receive a seating chart indicating your group’s seat locations.

Send a Deposit: A 10% non-refundable deposit is due within 14 days of making your reservation. This deposit secures your seats until one month prior to the performance, when the remaining balance is due in full.

Finalize the Number of Seats: You are able to change the number of seats in your reservation until the final balance is paid. However, if you’d like to add tickets to the original quantity, please contact the Group Sales department promptly to ensure that they can be located near your existing seats.

Final Payment: Give yourself plenty of time to receive everyone’s payment. Remember that final payment is due no later than one month prior to the performance, and must be in the form of one check or single credit card payment.

Group Sales FAQ

  • How many people qualify for a group sale?

    A “group” is comprised of 10 or more people attending the same performance.

  • How much money do I save when purchasing group tickets?

    Groups of 10 to 49 people are eligible to receive 15% off the price of each ticket; groups of 50 or more are eligible to receive a 20% discount.

  • Are there any restrictions for Girl Scout rate tickets?

    Tickets must be purchased through the Group Sales Department by the troop leader. A minimum purchase of four tickets is required. Although most Tilles Center-presents performances are eligible for this discount, please contact the Group Sales Department for details.

  • Is there a space for my group to eat lunch or dinner before or after the performance?

    For groups of forty or more, we may be able to arrange a space and catering for a reception prior to the performance. Smaller groups are encouraged to dine at recommended local restaurants. Please contact the Group Sales Department for more information.

  • How are seats assigned for large groups?

    The Group Sales Department will work with you to find the best seating arrangements possible within your desired price range. The sooner you make your reservation, the more seating options there are available.

  • What if I don’t know exactly how many seats I will need?

    The quantity of tickets can be adjusted at any point until the final balance is paid, provided that it does not fall below the group minimum of 10 seats. The per-ticket discount will be adjusted to reflect the new quantity of tickets, if necessary.

  • When do I pay for my reservation?

    A 10% non-refundable deposit is due within 14 days of reservation. The remaining balance is due no later than one month prior to performance date. Final payment must be made by a single check or credit card payment. Failure to comply with payment schedule will result in forfeiture of seats.

  • Can I pay for my tickets online?

    Yes! You may pay your group sale invoice online by logging into your My Tilles Center Account with the email address on file for your reservation. First time users will need to create a password by clicking the Forgot your password? link when prompted for login information.

    Please note that you will be billed for your remaining balance approximately two business days after paying your 10% nonrefundable deposit online. If paying your final balance online, please expect your tickets to arrive in the mail in 7-10 business days.
    A $1.00 convenience fee applies to each Internet payment.

  • How will I receive my tickets?

    Once final payment is made, all tickets will be mailed to the address on file. Be sure to keep track of who each ticket is assigned to — this is helpful to the box office in the event that a ticket is misplaced and needs to be reprinted.

  • Can group discounts be combined with other discounts?

    Group discounts cannot be combined with any other discounts or offers, or applied to previously purchased tickets.

  • Is there an additional fee for Group Sales?

    A $5 handling fee will be added to the total of each group order.

  • The Fine Print:

    Group orders are subject to availability. No refunds or exchanges. All sales are final. Programs, artists, and dates are subject to change.
