Special guest, SistaStrings
A Grammy and CMA Award-winner, Brandy Clark is one of her generation's most esteemed songwriters and musicians. Clark won Best Americana Performance at this year's 66th Grammy Awards for her song "Dear Insecurity," featuring Grammy winner Brandi Carlile. The song is from Clark's self-titled album, which was produced by Carlile. Released to overwhelming critical acclaim, Brandy Clark landed on several "Best of 2023" lists including NPR Music, Billboard, Rolling Stone, Variety, Los Angeles Times and Forbes, who calls the album "an Americana Masterpiece." She also composed the music and lyrics for the hit musical comedy, Shucked, alongside her longtime collaborator, Shane McAnally. With the show, Clark won Outstanding Music at the 67th Drama Desk Awards and was nominated for Best Original Score at the 76th Tony Awards.
The musical duo SistaStrings, comprised of sisters Chauntee and Monique Ross, have shared the stage with Brandi Carlile, Joni Mitchell, Ed Sheeran, Maggie Rogers, Jason Isbell and many others. With Chauntee on violin and Monique on cello, the sisters will bring their unique blend of classical training, soulful melodies, and contemporary sounds to the stage, making this wonderful night of music even more special!

All About Jazz: Review of Tilles Jazz Fest
Tilles Center, nestled within Long Island University's Post campus in Brookville, New York, has long been committed to promoting, supporting and programming jazz. But this well-regarded venue took things to an entirely different level with its inaugural jazz festival on July 20, 2024. Working in collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center, Tilles put together an event to remember, hosting more than 70 musicians spread out across four stages.
