Event Details
Meeting Mozart introduces young audiences to a range of Mozart’s music, from variations on “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” to his large-scale orchestral pieces. The production explores the instruments, scores and themes behind the music and the life of the musician who wrote them, aiming to instill a love and appreciation of classical music through an atmosphere that is fun, participatory and inclusive. Audiences will meet all the instruments and the ensemble along the way and discover some of Mozart’s best-known and beloved classical music.

Jazz enthusiasts gathered at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts on July 20 to enjoy a day filled with vibrant performances and community festivities at the inaugural Tilles Jazz Fest. The first event of its kind to be held at the Tilles Center, the Jazz Fest drew hundreds of people from all over Long Island to swing, sing and enjoy the music.
