Tilles Center strives to present entertainment for all ages and from all genres. Whether it is dance, classical music, rock and pop, comedy, country, Broadway, jazz, family, and more, there is something for everyone at Tilles Center!

What are your health & safety policies?
Is there security screening at the venue?
Doors to the venue typically open (2) hours before performances begin, with rare exceptions. For some shows, enhanced security screenings are in place including handheld metal detectors and/or bag searches. Please allow extra time to enter and see below for a list of restricted items.
What can't I bring into Tilles Center?
The following items are not allowed in the theater:
- Backpacks/Large Bags
- Weapons/Firearms
- Strollers (we will check and hold your stroller for your convenience)
- Helium-filled balloons
- Air horns and other loud noise makers
Are concessions available?
Yes! We offer snacks, coffee, bottled water, and soft drinks. We also provide a selection of beer and wine, as well as a full bar for select events.
Does Tilles Center have a lost and found?
Tilles Center Lost and Found can be reached at 516.299.3100.
For items that may have been lost elsewhere on campus, contact LIU Public Safety at 516.299.2214.
Is there a coat check at Tilles Center?
With the exception of special and private events, Tilles Center does not have a coat check.
Where is my seat?
Can I take photos or videos of the performance?
Video, photography, sound, or cell phone recording of any performance or event is generally not allowed but varies depending on the production.
When recording is allowed, only non-professional equipment without lighting or flash is allowed. Some events may be recorded by management for promotional purposes or under special arrangement with the artist.
Please note, that your attendance at any Tilles Center event is your consent to have your image or likeness appear in any captured photography, live or recorded video display, or other transmission or production in whole or in part of this event.
Do events change or get cancelled?
All programs and artists are subject to change without notice. If an event presented by Tilles Center has been cancelled or postponed, we will do everything within our power to make sure you know. This includes an announcement on our website, a post on social media, an email, and phone call to registered ticket buyers. Our website will have the most up to date information.
Please note that in inclement weather, if Long Island University is listed as closed, that does not necessarily mean that an event at Tilles Center is cancelled. Please check our website or call the Tantleff Box Office at 516.299.3100.

Can I Bring My Dog to Tilles Jazz Fest?
Certified service animals to assist the disabled are always welcome at Tilles Center. While we love animals, non-certified service dogs, and other pets are not allowed at Tilles Center.
